Plain words, read carefully

How aaram works, what you agree to when you join, what we collect, what you pay and what you receive. These pages are long because they are complete. Please read them fully before your first class.

The short version

Seven things we would say to you, hand on heart, before your first class.

  1. aaram is a yoga practice, offered to you through YouTube. It walks beside your doctor's care; it never takes its place.
  2. When you unroll your mat, you are alone with your body. No one at aaram can see you. Your body is the only teacher in the room, and its safety rests in your own hands.
  3. Every practice is your own free choice, made at your own risk. We offer the guidance; honouring it, and pausing the moment something hurts, is your part of the sadhana.
  4. We ask you, with care, to speak to your doctor before you begin. If you choose not to, that choice and all that follows from it are yours. Either way, if anything feels wrong, stop, and seek medical help.
  5. In the spirit of trust, you release aaram, its founder, teachers, team and partners from every claim that may arise from your practice, as far as the laws of India allow.
  6. Your first week is our gift. The yearly sankalp, once offered, is a commitment for the whole year and is not returned, except where the law requires.
  7. We keep only what we need to care for you, we never sell it, and it is yours to ask back at any time.

Health & safety liability waiver

Assumption of risk, release and indemnity

This Waiver applies to every person who watches, follows, practices along with or otherwise uses any aaram class, video, message, remedy or material ("the Practices"), whether during the free week or as a paid member, and whether you joined yourself or someone joined on your behalf.

By joining aaram, by ticking the acceptance box, by making a payment, or simply by following any aaram class, you confirm that you have read this Waiver in full, that you understand it, and that you agree to it voluntarily. If you do not agree with any part of it, do not join and do not practice.

1.aaram is not medical care

aaram is a yoga practice. It is educational and wellness in nature. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy, rehabilitation or any form of healthcare, and it is not a substitute for any of these. Our teachers are trained in yoga; they are not doctors, physiotherapists or licensed healthcare professionals, and nothing they say should be taken as medical advice. The words "therapeutic", "relief", "care", "healing" and "aaram" on our website describe the intention and tradition of the practice; they are not a medical claim, a diagnosis, or a promise of any outcome.

Knee pain and back pain can have many causes, some of them serious, and some of them made worse by movement. Only a doctor who has examined you can tell you which movements are safe for your body. aaram cannot, and does not, make that judgement for you.

2.Consult your doctor: our advice, your decision

We strongly advise every person to consult a qualified doctor before beginning any aaram Practice, to ask whether gentle yoga is suitable for their knee pain, back pain or any other condition, and to consult again whenever their condition, symptoms or medicines change. Whether you do so is your decision alone. If you choose to practice without consulting a doctor, you do so knowingly, voluntarily and entirely at your own risk, and you accept full responsibility for that choice and for everything that follows from it. aaram cannot assess your condition and does not know whether yoga is safe for you. If your doctor gives you any advice, you will follow it over anything shown in an aaram class, always.

If any of the following applies to you, the risk of practicing without a doctor's specific clearance is serious, and you agree that you practice only with such clearance, or, if you nevertheless choose to practice without it, that you alone bear every consequence:

  • a recent injury, fracture, surgery or hospitalisation, especially of the spine, hip, knee, ankle or shoulder, or any surgery in the last twelve months;
  • a slipped, herniated or prolapsed disc, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, severe osteoporosis, a spinal or joint infection, a tumour, or any condition where your doctor has restricted movement;
  • pain accompanied by numbness, tingling, weakness in a limb, loss of bladder or bowel control, fever, unexplained weight loss, or pain that wakes you at night; these need a doctor, not yoga;
  • heart disease, uncontrolled high or low blood pressure, a history of stroke, aneurysm, or any cardiovascular condition;
  • glaucoma, detached retina, or recent eye surgery;
  • asthma, COPD or any breathing condition, in relation to pranayama (breathing practices);
  • epilepsy, vertigo, frequent dizziness, or a tendency to faint;
  • pregnancy, or the first six months after childbirth;
  • any condition affecting balance, bone strength, blood clotting or the ability to feel pain;
  • any mental health condition that may be affected by breathing, relaxation, chanting or meditation practices;
  • any other condition, medicine or limitation that a reasonable person would want a doctor's opinion on before exercising.

3.Nobody can see you: full responsibility rests with you

This is the most important point in this Waiver, so we state it plainly. aaram classes are delivered through YouTube. Our teachers cannot see you, cannot hear you, cannot correct your posture, cannot notice if you are struggling, and cannot stop you. There is no live supervision of any kind. This is true for every class, every time.

Because of this, you accept that a greater degree of care and caution is required from you than in a class with a teacher in the room, and that the entire responsibility for watching your own body, judging your own limits, choosing the easier option, slowing down, resting and stopping lies with you alone, at every moment of every practice. aaram cannot share that responsibility, and does not.

You accept that a class is prepared in advance for a general audience of people with knee or back pain. It is not designed for you personally, it has no knowledge of your body, your diagnosis or your condition on that day, and it cannot adapt to you. Any instruction, cue, count, pace or sequence in a class is general guidance, not an instruction addressed to you. Whether to follow it, modify it, or ignore it is your decision and your responsibility.

4.You practice voluntarily and at your own risk

Nobody at aaram is forcing you to practice, to attempt any movement, to hold any position, to keep up with any pace, to finish any class, or to continue beyond your comfort. Every practice, every day, is your free and voluntary choice. You are, and remain, fully responsible for your own actions and their consequences.

You understand that yoga, like all physical activity, carries inherent risks, which cannot be eliminated no matter how carefully a class is prepared or how gently it is taught. These include, without limitation: muscle strain, sprain, tear or cramp; joint, ligament, tendon or cartilage injury; worsening of knee pain, back pain or any existing condition; disc injury; falls and the injuries that follow a fall; dizziness, fainting, nausea, shortness of breath; changes in blood pressure or heart rhythm; rare but serious events such as stroke or cardiac arrest; emotional distress during relaxation or breathing practices; and, in rare cases, permanent disability or death. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all of these risks, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, whether or not listed here, including risks that may arise from the ordinary negligence of aaram or any person connected with it.

5.The safety rules you agree to follow

aaram provides safety guidance: a self-care video before your first class, further self-care videos along the way, an easier option in every practice, and safety reminders inside the classes. Providing this guidance is our part. Following it is yours. You agree that:

  • you will watch the self-care video fully before your first class, and every further self-care video we send, before practicing further;
  • you will start with the easiest version of every movement and stay there until you are certain it is comfortable;
  • you will never move into pain, never hold your breath to force a position, never bounce, jerk or push, and never try to "keep up";
  • you will stop immediately, and not resume that day, if you feel pain (as distinct from gentle stretch), sharp sensation, clicking with pain, numbness, tingling, dizziness, breathlessness, chest discomfort, nausea, or anything unusual;
  • if any symptom continues after stopping, or is severe, you will contact your doctor or emergency services at once, and you will not message aaram instead;
  • you will practice on a flat, non-slip, clear surface with enough space to lie down and stretch out fully in every direction, away from furniture edges, stairs, water, heaters, glass and anything you could fall on or against;
  • you will use a sturdy chair, wall or other support whenever a class suggests it, and whenever you feel unsteady, and you will make sure a chair you use cannot slide or tip;
  • you will place your phone, tablet or screen securely where you can see it without twisting your neck, and never hold a device while moving;
  • you will wear clothing you can move in, practice barefoot or in non-slip footwear, remove jewellery that could catch, and keep your hair and spectacles secure;
  • you will not practice within two hours of a heavy meal, when unwell, feverish, exhausted, dehydrated, or under the influence of alcohol, sedatives, or any medicine that affects balance, alertness or pain perception;
  • you will not practice alone if your doctor has advised against it, and if you are at risk of falling, you will have another adult present;
  • you will treat Bandha, Mudra, Kriya and Pranayama as practices to be attempted only when explicitly introduced in a class, only in the gentle form shown, and never on your own initiative or from other sources;
  • you will rest whenever you wish, skip whatever you wish, and leave any class at any time; there is never any obligation to continue;
  • you will keep children and pets away from your practice area so that neither you nor they are hurt.

6.Home remedies, Dinacharya and lifestyle suggestions

From time to time aaram shares traditional home remedies, Ayurvedic and naturopathic suggestions, daily-routine (Dinacharya) and lifestyle ideas. These are shared as traditional general knowledge only. They are not prescriptions, not medical advice, and not tested or approved for you. Herbs, spices, oils and foods can cause allergic reactions and can interact with medicines, including blood thinners, blood pressure, diabetes and thyroid medicines. You agree that you will ask your doctor before trying any remedy, that you will not stop, reduce, replace or delay any prescribed medicine or treatment on the basis of anything aaram shares, and that any use of any remedy is entirely at your own risk.

7.No promise of results

Many people find that gentle, regular yoga eases their pain over time. Many do not, or not quickly, and some find that their pain changes in ways they did not expect. aaram makes no promise, guarantee, representation or warranty of any kind about relief, improvement, recovery, prevention, or any other result, for anyone. Any member story, example, statistic or testimonial we share describes that person's experience only and says nothing about what you will experience. Results depend on your body, your condition, your consistency, your medical care and many factors we do not control.

8.Emergencies

If you are hurt, unwell or in difficulty during or after a practice, your first and only call is to your local emergency number, your doctor or the nearest hospital. aaram has no way to know you need help, no way to reach you, and no capacity to respond. All costs of any medical care, transport, treatment, rehabilitation or loss of earnings arising from your practice are borne by you.

9.Release of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of India, you release, waive, discharge and agree not to sue aaram, its owner and operating entity, its founder, promoters, directors, partners, management, employees, teachers, instructors, presenters, contractors, volunteers, advisors, affiliates, Kashish Yoga and every person and entity connected with Kashish Yoga, and each of their heirs, successors and assigns (together, "the Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses of every kind, including legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your viewing of, participation in, or reliance on any aaram Practice, class, video, message, remedy, suggestion or material, including claims for personal injury, worsening of any condition, illness, disability, death, emotional distress, property damage, or any other loss, whether caused by the negligence of any Released Party or otherwise, except only to the extent that such a release is prohibited by law.

This release covers claims you have now and claims you may have in future, including claims you do not yet know about. It extends to any person claiming through you, including your family, heirs, dependants, executors and legal representatives.

10.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from and against any claim, demand, proceeding, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including legal fees) brought or incurred by anyone, including you, your family or a third party, arising out of or connected with (a) your participation in any Practice, (b) any breach by you of this Waiver or the Terms of Service, (c) any inaccurate or incomplete statement by you about your health, age or fitness, (d) any injury or damage you cause to yourself, to any other person, or to any property, and (e) any person you allowed to practice using your membership.

11.If you joined on someone's behalf

If you joined aaram for another adult, such as a parent or spouse, you confirm that you have their informed consent, that you have shown them this Waiver and the Terms in full, that they accept both, and that you remain responsible, together with them, for their compliance and for all consequences of their practice. If the member cannot read English, you confirm you have explained these documents to them in a language they understand.

12.Age

aaram is for adults aged 18 and above. A person under 18 may practice only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts this Waiver on the minor's behalf, who is present and supervising for every practice, and who takes full responsibility for the minor's safety. aaram does not knowingly accept members under 18 in any other circumstances.

13.Acceptance

Your acceptance is given electronically, by ticking the box at the time of joining, and is confirmed again each time you make a payment and each time you follow an aaram class. Electronic acceptance has the same legal effect as your handwritten signature under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applies to all your present and future participation. This Waiver survives the end of your membership for as long as any claim could possibly arise.

I confirm that I am 18 or older, that I have been advised to consult my doctor before practicing and that the decision to do so or not is mine alone, that I have read and understood the Health & Safety Liability Waiver and the Terms of Service in full, and that I practice voluntarily, unsupervised and entirely at my own risk.

Terms of service

The agreement between you and aaram

These Terms, together with the Liability Waiver, the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Service Delivery Policy (together, "the Policies"), form the complete agreement between you and Kashish Online Private Limited ("aaram", "we", "us"). By joining, paying, or following any class, you agree to all of them. If you do not agree, do not use aaram.

1.What aaram is

aaram offers gentle, daily yoga classes, prepared in advance by trained yoga teachers for people living with knee pain or back pain, published on YouTube and played at six routine times each day, together with self-care videos, class reminders, and occasional traditional lifestyle and home-remedy suggestions, all sent on WhatsApp. aaram is an initiative of the Kashish Yoga family. aaram is a wellness and educational service. It is not a medical, healthcare, physiotherapy or rehabilitation service, and does not hold itself out as one.

2.Eligibility

You must be 18 or older, and able to enter a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By joining you represent that all of this is true, and that every detail you give us is accurate and complete. We may ask for confirmation of age or identity at any time and may refuse, suspend or end membership if we are not satisfied.

3.Your free week

Your first seven days are free, with no payment details required. The free week is a trial for you to know your body, know us and know the timings, and it is offered once per person. It is subject to all the Policies, including the Waiver, in full. We may end or change the free week offer at any time for new members.

4.The yearly sankalp

After the free week, continued access requires a yearly sankalp: a single payment, the same for every member, which gives one named person daily classes and the related services for twelve months from the date of payment. The sankalp is ₹8,040 per year, inclusive of applicable taxes, paid in a single yearly payment. Where we describe it as ₹670 a month, that is the yearly amount expressed per month for ease of understanding; no monthly payment option exists, and the full yearly amount is shown again at the time of payment. We may change the amount for future years or for new members; a change never affects a year already paid for. The sankalp does not renew automatically; we will remind you before your year ends, and you choose whether to continue.

A sankalp is personal to one named member. It may not be shared, transferred, gifted after purchase, resold or used by anyone else. Access links and group memberships are confidential. If we find a membership being shared, we may end it without refund.

5.Health, safety and your responsibility

The Liability Waiver above is part of these Terms and is incorporated here in full. Without limiting it: you practice voluntarily, unsupervised and entirely at your own risk; you have been advised to consult your doctor and the decision is yours; you follow the safety guidance we provide; you stop when anything hurts; and you, not aaram, are responsible for your actions and their consequences, at all times. You will keep taking any medicines and following any treatment your doctor has prescribed, and you will not reduce, stop or replace them on the basis of anything from aaram.

6.Nature of the classes and the platform

Classes are prepared in advance and published on YouTube at routine times. They are general in nature and are not personal instruction. They are not live, and no teacher watches, monitors or responds during a class. aaram does not operate YouTube or WhatsApp. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and aaram is not responsible for their availability, changes, outages, errors, advertising, recommendations, data practices, account restrictions or anything else within their control.

7.What you may and may not do

  • Classes, videos, messages, remedies, sequences, scripts, graphics, the aaram name, logo and slogan, and all other material are owned by aaram or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. They are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.
  • You may not download, record, screen-capture, copy, share, forward, publish, broadcast, stream, translate, modify, or create works based on any aaram material, and you may not teach, perform or offer aaram sequences or classes to others, free or paid, without our written permission.
  • You may not share class links or WhatsApp group access with non-members, add others to groups, or use our channels to promote anything.
  • You may not use aaram if you are a yoga teacher, studio, platform or business seeking to copy, benchmark or compete with it, without our written agreement.
  • You may not harass, abuse, threaten or impersonate any member, teacher or team member, or send unlawful, offensive or misleading content on any aaram channel.
  • You may not attempt to interfere with, scrape, hack or disrupt any aaram channel, group, website or system.

Breach of any of these allows us to end your membership immediately without refund and to take any legal action available to us.

8.Feedback, stories and your name

If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas, you agree we may use them freely without payment or credit. If you share your experience with us, we will ask separately before using your words, name, image or voice in any public material, and you may withdraw that consent at any time for future use.

9.Changes to the service

We may change class timings, content, teachers, sequences, the number of classes, the platforms we use, and any other aspect of the service as we learn and improve. We will tell you in advance of any change that materially affects you. A change in teacher, timing or content is not a ground for refund. We may also pause classes briefly for holidays, maintenance or circumstances beyond our control (see Force majeure), and will make up or extend where reasonably possible.

10.Ending membership

You may stop at any time by telling us on WhatsApp; your access continues to the end of your paid year and nothing further is owed. We may suspend or end your membership at any time if you breach the Policies, give false information, behave abusively, share access, or if we reasonably believe continued practice is unsafe for you. If we end a membership for breach, no refund is due. If we end it for any other reason on our side, we refund the unused part as described in the Refund Policy. Sections on liability, indemnity, intellectual property, disputes and anything that by its nature should survive, survive the end of membership.

11.Disclaimer of warranties

aaram and everything it provides are supplied "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, safety for your body, uninterrupted or error-free availability, or results. We do not warrant that any class is suitable for you or your condition. No oral or written statement by anyone at aaram creates a warranty.

12.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, aaram and the Released Parties named in the Waiver shall not be liable to you or anyone claiming through you for any injury, loss or damage of any kind, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive, including personal injury, worsening of any condition, death, loss of earnings, medical costs, loss of data, or loss arising from the unavailability of YouTube, WhatsApp, the internet or electricity, however caused and under whatever legal theory. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, the total aggregate liability of all Released Parties to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to aaram in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct, to the extent a court of competent jurisdiction finds such liability cannot be waived.

13.Indemnity

The indemnity in the Waiver applies to these Terms in full.

14.Force majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including illness or unavailability of teachers, internet, power or platform failures, YouTube or WhatsApp policy changes or outages, natural disasters, epidemics, government orders, strikes, civil disturbance, or acts of God. Where a disruption on our side lasts more than fourteen consecutive days, we extend your year by the same period.

15.Time limit for claims

Any claim against aaram or any Released Party must be raised with us in writing within thirty days of the event giving rise to it, and any proceeding must be commenced within one year of that event, failing which the claim is permanently barred, to the extent the law permits.

16.Disputes, governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a grievance, write first to our grievance officer; most matters are resolved by conversation. Any dispute that is not resolved within thirty days of written notice shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by aaram under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with its seat in Margao, South Goa, conducted in English, and the award shall be final and binding. Subject to that, the courts at Margao, South Goa, have exclusive jurisdiction. If you use aaram from outside India, you do so on your own initiative, you remain subject to Indian law and these Terms, and you are responsible for compliance with your local laws. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to the extent they cannot be waived.

17.General

  • These Policies are the entire agreement between you and aaram and replace anything said or written earlier.
  • If any part is held invalid or unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues in full effect, and the invalid part is replaced by a valid one that comes closest to its intent.
  • Our not enforcing any provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it.
  • We may assign these Terms to any successor of the aaram service; you may not assign them.
  • We may update these Policies. The current version is always on this page with its date. Material changes will be notified on WhatsApp. Continuing to practice after a change means you accept it.
  • These Policies are written in English. Any translation we provide is for convenience only; the English text governs.
  • The spiritual references on our website, including the meaning of our name and the acknowledgement of our Guru, express the founders' own faith and the intention behind the work. aaram does not provide religious instruction, does not require any belief, and Mantra or chanting elements in any class are entirely optional.

Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and what we never do

This policy is written to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules under them. Kashish Online Private Limited is the data fiduciary responsible for your data.

1.What we collect

  • When you join: your name, phone number and country code, age group, the class time you choose, and, if you give it, your email address and the name of the person joining on your behalf.
  • When you pay: the fact, amount and date of your payment, and a transaction reference from our payment partner. Your card, UPI or bank details are collected and held by the payment partner, never by us.
  • When you message us: whatever you choose to write, including any health information you volunteer. We do not ask for health details. If you share them, we use them only to answer you, and you may ask us to delete them at any time.
  • When you use our website: standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and time spent, through our hosting provider and any analytics tool we use. We use only strictly necessary cookies and, if enabled, anonymised analytics cookies; you can block cookies in your browser without losing access to anything.
  • From YouTube and WhatsApp: nothing beyond what those platforms show us as ordinary group or channel administrators, such as your display name and phone number in a group. Their own policies govern what they collect from you.

2.Why we use it

  • to send you class links, the self-care videos, reminders before your class, home remedies and lifestyle suggestions from time to time, and answers to your questions;
  • to plan classes and timings, and to understand, in aggregate, who aaram serves;
  • to take payment, issue receipts and keep the records the law requires;
  • to remind you before your year ends;
  • to keep aaram safe, prevent misuse and enforce the Policies;
  • to meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you join, and where needed to deliver the service you asked for or to meet a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time; we will then stop the related processing and, where the service cannot continue without it, end your membership as described in the Refund Policy.

3.Who we share it with

Only the services that run aaram, and only as needed: our payment partner, our WhatsApp messaging provider, YouTube, our hosting and form providers, and our accountants or advisors under confidentiality. Each is bound by its own privacy terms and, where applicable, by contract with us. We may disclose data when required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect the rights, safety or property of aaram, our members or others. We never sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing.

4.Where it is kept and for how long

Your data is stored on the systems of the providers above, which may be located in India or abroad; by joining you consent to such transfer with the protections those providers offer. We keep your data for as long as you are a member and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can serve you if you return, and payment records for as long as tax law requires (currently eight years). Health details you volunteered are deleted as soon as the query is answered, or on request.

5.Your rights

You may at any time ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for any purpose; you may withdraw consent; and you may nominate a person to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to. Write to our grievance officer at the contact above. We respond within seven working days and resolve within thirty. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Replying "stop" to any aaram message ends messages of that kind.

6.Security

We limit access to your data to the few people who need it, use the security our providers offer, and review access regularly. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against every breach; if a breach affecting you occurs, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

7.Children

aaram is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian has enrolled a minor with consent under the Waiver, the parent's details are used for all communication.

8.Changes

We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page with its date, and material changes are notified on WhatsApp.

Refund and cancellation policy

Try first, pay only when you are ready

Your first week with aaram is free, with no payment details and no commitment. Use it fully. Pay only if, having tried aaram, you are sure you want to continue.

1.The yearly sankalp is non-refundable

Because you have already tried aaram before paying, and because the sankalp is a yearly commitment on both sides, the sankalp, once paid, is for the full twelve months and is not refundable, in whole or in part, for any reason on your side. This includes, without limitation: change of mind; not finding time; missing classes; travel; illness or injury; a change in your doctor's advice; dissatisfaction with results; a change in teacher, timing or content; not liking a platform; or your decision to stop. Access remains open to you for the full year whether or not you use it.

2.No pause, freeze or transfer

A sankalp cannot be paused, frozen, extended for non-use, transferred to another person, or exchanged for anything else.

3.When we do refund

  • Duplicate or mistaken payments are refunded in full to the original payment method within 7 working days of your telling us, on verification.
  • Failed payments where money was deducted but membership not activated are refunded, or the membership activated, at your choice, within 7 working days.
  • If aaram stops the service for all members during your year for any reason on our side other than force majeure, we refund the unused months pro rata, calculated monthly from the date classes stop.
  • If we end your membership for a reason other than your breach of the Policies, we refund the unused months pro rata.
  • Where the law requires a refund that this policy does not provide, we follow the law.

Refunds are made only to the original payment method, in Indian Rupees, less any payment-gateway charges we cannot recover, within 7 working days of approval; your bank may take longer to show it.

4.Cancellation

You may cancel at any time by messaging us. Cancellation stops the renewal reminder; your classes continue until the end of your paid year, and no refund is due. Since the sankalp does not renew automatically, no payment is ever taken without your fresh consent.

5.Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank. A chargeback raised for a payment that was valid under this policy will be contested, and membership is suspended while a dispute is open.

Providing and paying for all of these, and for data and electricity, is your responsibility. Everything else you need is in your home; we tell you before each class.

4.Language

Classes are conducted in Hindi and English. Messages are in English, with Hindi where helpful. We may add languages later.

5.Interruptions

If YouTube, WhatsApp, the internet or power is unavailable on your side, the class is still delivered; you may use another of the six routine times that day, and no credit is due. If a class is not published on our side at any of its routine times on a given day, we publish it as soon as possible and, if a full day is missed, add a day to your year. Scheduled pauses, such as for a festival, are announced in advance and days are added to your year. Disruptions beyond our control are covered under Force majeure in the Terms.

6.Changes in schedule

We may change routine times, teachers, content or platforms with at least 7 days' notice for a permanent change, and as soon as possible for an unavoidable one. Changes are notified on WhatsApp.

7.Support

For anything about your membership, links, timings or messages, write to us on WhatsApp or email during the hours shown under Contact. We do not provide medical advice of any kind, we cannot assess your condition, and we cannot respond to emergencies.
